Crown & Champa Resorts has been recognised for excellence in hospitality, with several of the hotel group’s properties achieving 2019 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.
Most of the properties in Crown & Champa Resorts’ portfolio received the 2019 Certificate of Excellence, with some of them entering into the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame.
The properties that received the 2019 Certificate of Excellence are Hurawalhi Maldives, Komandoo Resort Maldives, Kuredu Resort Maldives, Meeru Island Resort & Spa, Veligandu Island Resort & Spa, and Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa. With this latest achievement, Veligandu and Vilamendhoo are now in the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame.

Now in its ninth year, the Certificate of Excellence designation recognises establishments that consistently earn great reviews on TripAdvisor from travellers. It accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
Businesses that have received a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years will qualify for the Hall of Fame.
