Egypt and Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah is in Maldives for a family getaway.
Salah reportedly arrived in the Maldives Friday morning with his wife Maggi and their daughter Makka. The family is said to have travelled to Hurawalhi Maldives resort from the main Velana International Airport.
The five-star Hurawalhi resort is accessible by a 40-minute scenic seaplane flight from the main airport, and offers 90 villas, including 60 Ocean Villas and 30 Beach Villas, for grown-ups who are seeking luxury and innovation. The villas are stylishly and beautifully conceived featuring soothing décor, sumptuous linens on king size beds, bleached wooden floors, and private terraces with panoramic views.
There is an ocean of delights to take in at Hurawalhi Maldives: dining at 5.8 Undersea Restaurant, snuggling up with your darling under a blanket or sparkling stars on the iconic Dream Island sandbank, falling in love with the plethora of marine life on the island’s doorstep – in fact, one visit to the resort is hardly enough to experience it all.

The most globally-acclaimed player in the Egypt squad, Salah has dazzled Europe over the last two seasons. Salah started out with Arab Contractors before making his way to Europe, and his goalscoring feats with Liverpool in 2017/18 have made him one of the most prolific players in all the continent’s top five leagues.
The forward has excelled for his country too, leading the way for Egypt during the qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup with five goals. However, he missed Egypt’s opening match against Uruguay on June 15, which the Pharaohs lost 1–0, conceding in the 89th minute. On June 19, Salah scored a penalty in Egypt’s 3-1 defeat to hosts Russia. In Egypt’s final group game on June 25, Salah scored his second goal of the World Cup with a chip over the goalkeeper in Egypt’s 2-1 defeat to Saudi Arabia.
