OZEN by Atmosphere at Maadhoo has won the top prize from the flair category in the annual Grape Expectations Bartenders Challenge.
At the Bartenders Challenge held at Kurumba Maldives resort from July 7-8, OZEN by Atmosphere at Maadhoo’s Andy Pratama won the first prize amongst 26 bartenders from all across the Maldives. He will now represent the Maldives at the 27th Asia Pacific Bartender of the Year Cocktail Championship to be held in Singapore in August.
Sponsored by Danzka vodka, Plantation rum, Re’al puree and Giffard liqueurs, the fifth annual Grape Expectations Bartenders Challenge saw the introduction of an all new Flair category in addition to the main Mixology category.
Representatives from Grape Expectations, International Bartenders Association (IBA) and Danska Vodka judged the competition using IBA standards.
