Corporate Maldives Academy (CMA) has opened registration for the first ever marketing forum in the Maldives, the Maldives Marketers Forum 2018.

Registration for the forum, which is scheduled to be held in February, is open till January 21 via an online portal. Registration costs USD 200 per person, and covers entry, lunch and refreshments.

The Maldives Marketers Forum is a unique and innovative event designed to engage, challenge and inspire business leaders and marketers in the Maldives. The forum will focus on three key aspects of marketing: strategy, technology and psychology.

Speakers include Prasanna Perera, Consultant at  SLIM Sri Lanka, Adeel Ismail, CEO at Think Advertising, Abdulla Nabeel, Director of International Sales at The Small Maldives Island Co., Isabelle Hajri, Chief Marketing Officer at Dhiraagu, Aminath Shaayan, Deputy Managing Director at Public Service Media, and Niushad Shareef, Marketing Manager at Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives.

CMA, a division of leading local marketing and PR agency Maldives Getaways, was registered with the aim of addressing a serious problem for the corporate sector of Maldives — the absence of a reliable platform for providing continuous training and growth to employees. Options for employers to provide training to employees locally are quite minimal, making provision of training to employees in a sustainable manner a costly affair as they have to resort to overseas training providers.

CMA has amassed an extensive network of global training providers, experts and local trainers who are confident of delivering CMA standard of services as per client’s requirements.

According to CMA, a Marketing Forum, Chief Financial Officers (CFO) Forum as well as an HR Forum has been scheduled for 2018.
