Dusit Thani Maldives has teamed up with tennis coaching company Recreational Tennis Coaching to offer lessons for the resort’s guests.
Officially starting on December 15, new resident tennis coaches Luka and Britanny will host junior and adult coaching sessions, as well as private and group classes tailored to suit all levels of ability. From forehand and backhand techniques to tactics, serves and returns, slices and volleys, participants will learn everything they need to know to be considered a good player.
Both coaches bring with them more than 10 years’ combined experience teaching children and adults around the world. During his career, Luka has also worked with tennis stars such as Ramazzotti Samuele, Novak Djokovic, Victor Troicki, Simone Bolelli, Thomas Fabbiano, Stefano Travaglia, and Filippo Volandri, amongst others.
All the lessons and activities will be conducted at the resort’s two floodlit tennis courts, which are kept in excellent condition and available to book 24 hours in advance through the activity centre. All equipment, including high-quality balls and racquets, are available for complimentary hire.

“Fun and inspiring, the lessons will give everyone a chance to pick up a racquet and play, no matter what their age or skill level, and we are sure they will be a huge success.”
