Kuredu’s doors are wide open throughout the year; however, each December the atmosphere is even better: it’s the resort’s birthday (turning 31 this year – and still looking fabulous!), the resort is big on Christmas and New Year (there will be a count down to… not sure you realise it… 2020!), and it’s high season with wonderful weather and flat seas.

Long story short: Kuredu is where you should be to wrap up the year on a high note!

From live music by The Flying Dancing Kings and a range of local musicians, beach barbecues, gala dinners and the traditional Gladiators charity show to the fabulous Limmat-Nixen Zürich synchronised swimmers and of course a superhero-themed NYE party, this festive season is one you shouldn’t miss.

The team at Kuredu is also excited about two visiting chefs, Stefan Marquard and Mauro Panebianco, who will be hosting some fantastic events – be sure to secure your attendance via the Kuredu App or my.kuredu.com.

The above is just a little teaser, however here’s the full programme of events happening at Kuredu this Christmas and New Year.

Located on a 1,800 metre by 325 metre remote island in the northern atoll of Lhaviyani, Kuredu is accessible by a 35-minute scenic seaplane flight from the main Velana International Airport. This 4.5-star resort has 383 rooms, including beach and water villas, making it the second largest resort in the Maldives.

The island boasts a dive and snorkel centre, a water sports centre, a spa, golf and tennis courses, a kids’ club, and an extensive choice of restaurants and bars. Kuredu guests can also dine in 5.8 Undersea Restaurant at the neighbouring Hurawalhi Maldives resort.
