Kurumba Maldives has reopened its team recreation centre after an extensive renovation.
Inside the 220 sqm air-conditioned space, the resort has created four separate areas: a main recreations hall with a billiard table, table tennis table, foosball and board games; a quiet lounge area for reading and online chatting; a speak easy lounge; and, a private PlayStation gaming room.
Prior to the reopening last week, the resort team members were tasked to choose tae name for this facility. They have decided to call it Ufaa, which means happiness in local Dhivehi language.
“All of this was made possible due to the creativity of our in-house team, and we thank them for their great efforts,” an announcement by the resort read.
“We all work incredibly hard, and those precious few hours we spend outside of the job are incredibly important. This new area will definitely add to the great offerings already in place for all of our team members, and we look forward to attracting even more to come join our team here at Kurumba.”
