Leading local talent management agency He n She has hosted a beauty pageant, with the winners set to take part in two international pageants.
The local pageant took place at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa on October 19.
Out of 13 shortlisted models, four winners were chosen to represent the Maldives at Top Model of World and Miss British Empire. The winners include:
- Top Model Maldives: Saaniya Ahmed
- Miss British Empire Maldives: Mariyam Laisa
- Mr British Empire Maldives: Abdulla Nabeel
- Mr Maaungoodhoo Maldives for British Empire: Zainahdheen Zidhan
Models chosen for Miss British Empire are already in Sri Lankan capital Colombo. They will participate in the finale, which will be held Tuesday evening at the Mount Lavinia Hotel.
