Velaa Private Island has won two regional accolades at World Travel Awards 2019.
At the World Travel Awards Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony, which took place at Sugar Beach – A Sun Resort in Mauritius on May 31, Velaa Private Island was crowned Indian Ocean’s Leading Luxury Island Resort and Indian Ocean’s Leading Private Island Resort.
The resort had in 2017 won the regional title of Indian Ocean’s Leading Luxury Villa Resort and the country title of Maldives’ Leading Luxury Villa Resort.
