The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort has defended the title of World’s Leading Luxury Island Resort at the 2018 World Travel Awards.
At the World Travel Awards Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2018 held at the historic Pátio da Galé in Lisbon on December 1, The St. Regis Maldives once again secured the position after fierce competition with top resorts from leading destinations such as Greece, Italy, Mauritius, Fiji and The Bahamas.
The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, which recently won multiple awards at the 2018 Haute Grandeur Global Awards, is nestled on a private island in the secluded Dhaalu atoll, amidst thriving marine life. Just 40 minutes from the main Velana International Airport by seaplane, guests are transported to a newfound paradise.
