Kuredu Resort Maldives has added recreational tennis coaching to the range of activities available on the island.
The resort has partnered with Recreational Tennis Coaching (RTC) to offer guests tennis courses and private lessons conducted by a resident coach.
“Even if you’ve never tried tennis before, why not try your hand at it during your holiday in the Maldives,” an announcement read.
“Kuredu’s floodlit court with its convenient location close to your villa and our experienced in-house instructor make it easy for you to discover a new passion or to give the young budding Roger Federer in your family some quality support and well-spent time outdoors.”
Following the introduction of a padel tennis court, guests will also be able to take padel tennis instructor courses.
Based at the Barcelona Tennis Academy, which is renowned for producing some of the world’s best tennis players, RTC offers worldwide tennis coaching that focuses on four key areas of the game: technical base, tactical understanding, physical training and mental toughness. The RTC tennis programme takes pride on a comprehensive structure, making it suitable for novice players as well as for experienced club players looking to improve their game.
Located on a 1,800 metre by 325 metre remote island in the northern atoll of Lhaviyani, Kuredu is accessible by a 35-minute scenic seaplane flight from the main Velana International Airport.
