Kuredu Resort Maldives has announced the final round in its series of anniversary competitions, where the lucky winners receive a free holiday to the resort.

For this final round in the series of anniversary competitions, Kuredu wants you to get into the spirit of celebration and show your best Mardi Gras outfit. Mardi Gras will be the theme running throughout Kuredu’s 30th anniversary events.

To be in with a chance of winning, you need to submit a picture showing your best costume. As well as a multitude of sparkles, feathers and beads, your costume design should feature an anniversary message to Kuredu – this could simply be you holding an anniversary card (available for download for phone, tablet or print), or you may find creative ways to incorporate a different reference to Kuredu’s anniversary into your outfit.

“Put on your (glitter gold) thinking cap and convince us that it’s your entry that is the most unique, extravagant and prize worthy! Dig out pearls, feathers, masks or any other Mardi Gras must-haves, include a reference to Kuredu’s anniversary and keep your fingers crossed that our expert committee finds your entry the best,” an announcement by the resort read.

Only entries submitted before 18:00 CET/ 17:00 GMT on Thursday, November 8th via an online form will be considered for the prize. Images should be submitted as .jpeg types.

The winner will receive a five-night stay for two persons sharing a Private Pool Villa on full-board basis at Kuredu and return seaplane transfer from Male. The prize does not cover international flights to and from the Maldives, travel insurance and taxes.

Kuredu has earlier hosted two similar competitions in its 30th anniversary giveaway series.

Located on a 1,800 metre by 325 metre remote island in the northern atoll of Lhaviyani, Kuredu is accessible by a 35-minute scenic seaplane flight from the main Velana International Airport. This 4.5-star resort has 383 rooms, including beach and water villas, making it the second largest resort in the Maldives.

The island boasts a dive and snorkel centre, a water sports centre, a spa, golf and tennis courses, a kids’ club, and an extensive choice of restaurants and bars. Kuredu guests can also dine in 5.8 Undersea Restaurant at the neighbouring Hurawalhi Maldives resort.
