Hurawalhi Maldives has introduced new menus for its 5.8 Undersea restaurant.

The new lunch and dinner menus bring together high-quality, sustainably sourced ingredients and daring creativity with techniques and presentation. Revel in light dishes such as tuna tartare and seared scallops, both of which come with touches of wasabi and avocado; smoked langoustine with a trio of caviar and lemon pearls; poached lobster; seared Wagyu beef tenderloin; and melt-in-mouth mango cheesecake with coconut ice-cream.

Guests can book a table at lunchtime (now available in two five-course sittings) to experience the restaurant when the sun and fish life are the brightest, or they can take their dinner date to the restaurant at sunset to delight in a seven-course menu and to be wowed by both the daylight and the romantic nighttime atmospheres.

“Coupling an alluring mise en scène beneath the ocean with exquisite dishes, 5.8 Undersea Restaurant is a byword for exceptional fine dining in the Maldives. Diners hungry for the world’s largest all-glass undersea restaurant experience are bound to be stunned not only by its iconic setting, but in equal part by 5.8’s five-star menus,” an announcement by the resort read.

Additionally, the restaurant is also available for a Private Champagne Breakfast upon request.

Officially inaugurated in January 2016, the five-star Hurawalhi resort is accessible by a 40-minute scenic seaplane flight from the main airport, and offers 90 villas, including 60 Ocean Villas and 30 Beach Villas, for grown-ups who are seeking luxury and innovation. The villas are stylishly and beautifully conceived featuring soothing décor, sumptuous linens on king size beds, bleached wooden floors, and private terraces with panoramic views.

There is an ocean of delights to take in at Hurawalhi Maldives: dining at 5.8 Undersea Restaurant, snuggling up with your darling under a blanket or sparkling stars on the iconic Dream Island sandbank, falling in love with the plethora of marine life on the island’s doorstep – in fact, one visit to the resort is hardly enough to experience it all.
