Jumeirah Vittaveli has announced a programme of traditional Easter celebrations, enabling families visiting the award-winning resort to join Master Classes by Guest Chef Anthony Demetre and admire art by renowned Sri Lankan artist Mueen Saheed.
Families will be able to meet the Easter bunny who will visit children with chocolate eggs and goodies. Children are also invited to join the resort’s Kuda Koli Kids Club for fun activities including an Easter egg roll, sweets and treats and a colourful tea party at the Samsara Boardwalk.
The exclusive Family Fun Offer includes a four nights stay in a Two Bedroom Beach Villa with Pool and access to a private beach or lagoon, daily buffet breakfast, afternoon tea in villa and evening meals at Samsara, Fenesse or MU Grill, a fruit basket on arrival and beach BBQ with the family.
This year, the resort also welcomes two special guests.
Sri Lankan artist Mueen Saheed, who became a prolific painter after a successful career as a jeweller, will be at the resort from March 20-25, 2018. Mueen will hold painting sessions with guests and talk about his inspiration and approach to art — a number of his paintings will be exhibited.
Shortly afterwards, well-known British Chef Anthony Demetre will lead a week of cooking demonstrations, dinners and classes from April 1-7, 2018.
He will rotate around Samsara, Fenesse, Swarna and MU Beach Grill and cook al fresco on the beaches. Guests will have the option to join an interactive dinner with wine pairing, or float off on a sunset cruise with champagne and canapes before enjoying a Beach dinner hosted by Chef Anthony.
Chef Anthony has more than 18 years’ experience working in award-winning restaurants and has been taught by the world’s best chefs including Marco Pierre White and Pierre Koffmann. Anthony has been Chef-Patron of two restaurants in the UK — Wild Honey in Mayfair and Arbutus – which were both awarded Michelin stars. He has appeared on the BBC, the Great British Menu series and Saturday Kitchen Live.
