Hurawalhi Maldives is set to play host to the world’s first undersea yoga, giving guests a unique opportunity to yield yoga’s health and well-being benefits in the calming ambience of the rich marine life.

The 60-minute vinyasa flow session, which costs USD 120 per person, will be conducted by yogi Jessica Olie at the resort’s 5.8 Undersea Restaurant on March 17.

According to Jessica, “the most beautiful part of the practice is that you take what you need from it, and it gives you what you need.”

Jessica promises the one-hour vinyasa flow to provide physical and mental rewards, with captivating views of fish around you as you move from one pose to the next bringing you even closer to a state of the zen-like state of mind.

Officially inaugurated in January 2016, the five-star Hurawalhi resort is accessible by a 40-minute scenic seaplane flight from the main airport, and offers 90 villas, including 60 Ocean Villas and 30 Beach Villas, for grown-ups who are seeking luxury and innovation. The villas are stylishly and beautifully conceived featuring soothing décor, sumptuous linens on king size beds, bleached wooden floors, and private terraces with panoramic views.

There is an ocean of delights to take in at Hurawalhi Maldives: dining at 5.8 Undersea Restaurant, snuggling up with your darling under a blanket or sparkling stars on the iconic Dream Island sandbank, falling in love with the plethora of marine life on the island’s doorstep – in fact, one visit to the resort is hardly enough to experience it all.
