MATATO has opened registration for an exclusive training programme on women in leadership and for those who intend to build a career in management.
Organised by MATATO, in partnership with McQuire Rens and Jones Sri Lanka, the one-day programme will be held at the Champa Central Hotel in capital Male on March 22. Registration is open till February 28.
“This program is hosted as part of MATATO’s initiative for 2018, to empower women in service sectors, especially in the tourism Industry,” a statement issued by MATATO read.
Themed as ‘Leadership and Management Skills for Women’, this programme will explore the opportunities for women to develop their strength as leaders and management staff, while exploring the areas of assertive communication, dealing with diversity and workplace challenges.
MATATO is inviting Senela Jayasuriya-Abeynaike, founder of Women Empowered to conduct this one-day programme.
Senela Jayasuriya-Abeynaike is a transformation specialist, leadership trainer and an executive coach, and has held many positions in leadership and strategy both in the corporate sector as well as in the service and advocacy domain.
Through her longtime dream of Women Empowered, she offers specially designed leadership grooming courses and services for women of all ages in order to facilitate women to rise to board positions and positions of influence where they can make a bigger and more meaningful impact for self, the business and society. Her expertise are in business, marketing and brand communications, strategy, presentation and public speaking, personal branding and personality development, executive coaching and customer service.
MATATO has a long term agreement with McQuire Rens & Jones to bring their premium programmes to the Maldives. Since 2012, MATATO and McQuire Rens & Jones have jointly organised more than six training programmes in the Maldives, including one-day programmes on Telephone Etiquette and Customer Service and Social Media Marketing last year.
MATATO has also hosted the first ever human capacity building programme conducted in the Maldives by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).
