Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort has introduced two new packages for honeymooners.
The Honeymoon Getaway Package includes standard inclusions such as breakfast in bed, romantic flower decorations, a selection of rich chocolates and a chilled bottle of sparkling wine. Newlyweds visiting the resort under the package will also enjoy a dreamy sunset cruise with cocktails and canapes.
The second Ultimate Honeymoon Package allows couples staying at Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort to enjoy all the features of the Honeymoon Getaway Package, plus additional romantic elements, including a candlelit dinner for two on the beach.
Newlywed honeymoon couples can also join Outrigger Resorts’ beachfront vow renewal ceremonies at the resort.
The new honeymoon packages by Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort are amongst a range of nine honeymoon packages recently introduced by Outrigger Resorts for all of its Pacific, Asian and Indian Ocean beachfront resorts.
The packages, customised to the host location, cover some of the most desirable and iconic honeymoon destinations in the world: Maldives, Mauritius, Hawaii, Fiji, Guam, and Phuket and Koh Samui in Thailand.
“Outrigger has made it easy for couples to plan a dream honeymoon and celebrate in paradise,” Sean Dee, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Outrigger Enterprises Group, was quoted in a statement, as saying.
“Our global honeymoon platform is an extension of the Outrigger Resorts Signature Experiences – inviting guests to ‘Escape Ordinary’ – and in this case, love every minute of the authentic tropical adventure.”
For the Honeymoon Getaway and Ultimate Honeymoon packages, Outrigger requires a minimum stay between three to five nights, with the travel period being through December 31, 2018. Guests must provide proof that their marriage date occurred less than one year prior to arrival.
Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort is accessible via a 55-minute flight from the main Velana International Airport to Kaadedhdhoo Airport followed by a scenic 30-minute journey on a luxurious private speedboat. The resort comprises 29 Beach Pool Villas, 21 Ocean Pool Villas, two Lagoon Pool Villas and a masterful three-bedroom Grand Konotta Villa, offering guests a complete sense of privacy and intimate luxury.
Maldives has won several global and regional accolades for being amongst the most romantic destinations in the world, with the latest being included in an annual list compiled by Brides magazine of the 20 most honeymoon worthy destinations in the world.
Surveys and studies analysing travel trends have also shown that a healthy majority of travellers that choose the Maldives are honeymooners.
