Season Paradise has celebrated its first anniversary with two international awards which named the boutique hotel as the Best Beach Hotel and Best Island Hotel.
At the Haute Grandeur Global Hotel and Spa Awards gala ceremony held at the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit hotel on October 27, Season Paradise was awarded a continental title for the best Beach Hotel in Indian Ocean. A country award was also given to the hotel in the Best Island Hotel category.
These recognitions at the Haute Grandeur Global Hotel and Spa Awards follow two awards won by the hotel earlier in the year. They are Expedia Rising Star 2017 award and Luxury Travel Guide’s Best New Hotel 2017 award.
“Over the past year, we are proud to have taken steps towards implementing socially responsible measures focused on environmental protection by using refilled glass bottles for water and soft drinks instead of the usual plastic bottles, an active linen policy, reducing water consumption and chemical usage, by replacing towels/sheets only when necessary or requested, all our chemicals are biodegradable, environmentally friendly and supplied in heavy concentration to reduce waste containers,” an announcement by the hotel said.
“Located on Thulusdhoo, it is with high regard that we approach employing / developing partnerships locally, providing twice daily high speed return transfer to the island, assisting as CSR support to Island council, school, local NGOs and institutions.”
Season Paradise is the second and most recent addition to the chain of hotels by Refcool Travels and Tours.
Featuring 48 tastefully furnished rooms and suites and a marvellous rooftop infinity pool and gym with a spectacular view over the Indian Ocean, the hotel also offers banquets, conference and meeting facilities for business as well as leisure travellers.
Into this year’s festive season 2017, Season Spa will transform into a wellness centre, adding beauty services, healthy drinks to existing therapies.
Season Activities Centre will be providing wide range of motorised and leisurely water sports options, including diving and surfing lessons, jet ski, sailing, kite surfing, acro and SUP yoga classes on the beach — transforming Thulusdhoo into an alluring island destination.
