Robinson’s second resort in Maldives, Robinson Club Noonu has opened.

The brand new resort marked its opening with a grand party on Thursday, where live music and dance performances as well as fireworks were put on display.

Prior to the party, the first group of guests were given a warm welcome as they arrived in the island on Wednesday.

Robinson Club Noonu is located on the island of Orivaru in the northern Noonu atoll, and is accessible by a 45-minute seaplane flight from the main Velana International Airport.

The resort consists of 60 water villas, 46 beach villas and 11 duplex villas, with two-thirds of the rooms having their own private pools.

Dining options include three restaurants, including a main, a speciality and a Teppanyaki restaurant. There are also two bars.

The resort features an infinity pool, Robinson’s signature WellFit fitness centre, a spa and a kids club.

The Robinson Club Noonu is one of the three Robinson FeelGood clubs, a place special for singles and couples looking for a perfect blend of relaxation and partying in a stylish ambiance with stunning landscapes.

Robinson, owned by world’s largest leisure company TUI Group, already manages the Robinson Club Maldives resort at Fanumadua island in the southern Gaafu Alif Atoll.

Robinson’s portfolio currently contains 24 club resorts in 11 countries with a capacity of 13,000 beds. The company has recently announced a major expansion plan, aiming to increase the number of its properties to 40.
