Kandima Maldives has announced a carnival of festivities for the upcoming holiday season, offering the chance for guests to celebrate Christmas and New Year holidays barefoot and in a tropical setting.
To make the festivities even more exciting, Kandima will be bringing in UK’s Capital FM’s Marvin Humes to DJ at the “Kandima Karnival” New Year’s Eve Party at the resort’s awesome Beach Club. Lily And The Band, Helen B and DJ Alain will be there too.
The party starts on Christmas Eve with Sundowners on the beach, followed by a delicious dinner with a live band and DJ over at the poolside Breeze bar. Christmas Day begins with brunch where the Kandima Santa will be popping into Breeze in style with a few surprises.
On December 27, there will be a pool party and festive games.
On December 29, guests can take a peek at work by Maldivian artists with a KULA Art Exhibition and food market. During the day, Kandima will also be holding the first ever KULA Colour run along its 3km beach.
After the “Kandima Karnival” New Year’s Party at Beach Club, guests will be served a Detox Brunch on New Year’s Day. But there will also be bacon and eggs for those who do not want to start their healthy regime just yet.
“Plus we have karaoke, family bingo, beach games, massage workshops and of course, we’ll be lighting the Oh-so Wow Christmas tree. It’s heaps of k’ool festive fun without the cold,” an announcement by the resort read.
“There’s oodles of stuff for the kids too as over at Kandiland, our super kids’ club, we’ve got disco parties, face painting, gingerbread house decorating, mini Olympics, teen pool party, and lots more!”
As with other aspects of the game-changing lifestyle resort, the festivities, according to Kandima, are not just for honeymooners and couples, who are more than welcome to join the party. Families, groups of friends, couples of all ages and solo travellers too are welcome to join Kandima’s first ever festive celebration.
Located on a lush tropical island in Dhaalu Atoll, Kandima offers a choice of 272 stylishly designed studios and villas, with 11 different categories to choose from, all of which have a private terrace and endless tropical views to enjoy.
