Hurawalhi Maldives has announced an osteopathy wellness programme with visiting osteopathy consultant Joshua Donalies.
In an announcement, Hurawalhi said Joshua would be based at the resort’s Duniye Spa from November 5-16. A consultation session will cost USD 124 excluding taxes, it added.
“Guests staying at Hurawalhi Maldives between 5th and 16th November are kindly invited to experience a patient-centred, hands-on approach to health that focusses on influencing bodily functions through structural correction to bring about optimal wellness,” the announcement read.
“Dedicate some of your time at Hurawalhi for your health and well-being and leave the island with energy levels so high that they will last for many months to come.”
The principles of osteopathy lie in the belief that in order to have well-being the body’s structure has to be functioning smoothly and correctly. Core elements of the body including bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue must be in harmony with one another or imbalances may occur.
Osteopathy could be beneficial for those suffering from back or shoulder pain, joint problems and muscular tension and discomfort.
Officially inaugurated in January, the five-star Hurawalhi resort is accessible by a 40-minute scenic seaplane flight from the main Velana International Airport, and offers 90 villas, including 60 Ocean Villas and 30 Beach Villas, for grown-ups who are seeking luxury and innovation.
