Gili Lankanfushi has introduced pink-coloured cocktails and delicacies this October to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
During the Gili Goes Pink October campaign conducted throughout the month of October, guests can sip on delicious Pink October cocktails, and savour pink dishes inspired by healthy food such as beetroot, pomegranate, berries and the ever so lovely pink sakura.
“Be sure to capture some of the extraordinary pink dishes, share them on instagram with #giligoespinkoctober to support of the pink ribbon movement,” an announcement by the resort read.
Additionally, for some relaxation and nerves calming time, guests can experience a healing session at Meera Spa with the Euphoria Sound Healing Therapy, a treatment with Tibetan Singing Bowls as well as chanting for inner peace and healing on both emotional and spiritual levels.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international health campaign organised by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.
