COMO Cocoa Island has been recognised as the Best Hotel in the Maldives for the second year in a row by TripExpert.
“This award is particularly important to us as it reflects the views of leading travel and leisure publications, including Frommer’s, Travel and Leisure, and Fodor’s. We endeavour to continue offering our guests the ultimate Maldivian luxury experience. Thank you for your support,” the resort said, in an announcement.
TripExpert debuted in 2014 and calls itself the Rotten Tomatoes of hotel reviews. Just as Rotten Tomatoes aggregates professional critics’ movie reviews to give a film a score, TripExpert rounds up hotel reviews from travel guides, magazines, websites and newspapers to rank hotels in various destinations.
