Lily Beach Resort and Spa Maldives has introduced a large walk-in humidor (cigar cellar), to help preserve the resorts wide selection of luxury cigars for its guests.
In an announcement, the resort said the specially designed humidor was built by its carpentry team. It will maintain a steady 20°C and 70 percent humidity in order to help ensure that all cigars are fresh, flavoursome and in perfect condition, it added.
Lily Beach offers a range of brands including Cohiba, Montecristo, Partagas and Romeo y Julieta.
“As some of the oldest and best-known brands of cigars in the world, you know you are guaranteed quality, however if you are unsure what to select, our staff are here to help. Joseph, our resident sommelier is also cigar trained, and as well as offering excellent wine suggestions he will be able to guide you in selecting the perfect cigar, as will our experienced bar team,” the announcement read.
“Often enjoyed with a fine whiskey or cognac, cigars offer a fantastic and luxurious way to end the day for those who enjoy their strong flavours. Combined with the beautiful sunsets that we so often get to experience at Lily Beach Resort it will be an experience you are unlikely to forget.”
