Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has launched this year’s edition of its annual publication, Maldives Finder.
Maldives Finder 2017 was released at an Iftar hosted by MATATO at Hotel Jen in capital Male on Thursday. Members of MATATO, partner organisations, hoteliers and media joined the annual Iftar and the launching ceremony.

In the 2017 edition of Maldives Finder, MATATO features the creative duo Aishath Naj and Daniel Bosely who is on a mission to rediscover the islands of Maldives through their impressive project, Two Thousand Isles. In addition, the publication includes travel stories collected from around the Maldives, and gives coverage for travel hotspots across the archipelago.
First launched in 2011, Maldives Finder is distributed throughout the year at leading international travel exhibitions and events, and travel roadshows and networking events organised by MATATO. The publication is also widely circulated amongst the tourism facilities in the Maldives.
MATAO, a non-profit that supports local travel agents and tour operators through lobbying and training programmes, also organises the prestigious Maldives Travel Awards every year.
