Lily Beach Resort and Spa Maldives has appointed Patrice Aira as its Resident Manager.
In an announcement, Lily Beach said the French national joined the resort in March.
Patrice started out in the hospitality industry as a busboy in the dining room of Four Seasons Hotel, Seattle. Since then, he has served in the food and beverage division of several hotels and as the Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Resort in Mauritius.
Upon taking the helm at Lily Beach, the Frenchman described the Maldives as the “epitome of paradise” whose beauty is unmatched anywhere in the world. He said he wanted to experience the hospitality industry of the Maldives first hand.
“When I arrived at the resort, I was amazed by the shades of blue that were surrounding the island. Also, the friendly faces that you see right upon the arrival… it’s a truly welcoming feeling,” Patrice was quoted as saying in a news brief published by the resort.
He hailed the incredible friendliness of the team at Lily Beach towards guests and each other. That, he said, translates into a personalised holiday experience for guests who feel like at home and keep returning to the resort year after year.
“I’ve never seen anything like that before,” Patrice said.
Set on the island of Huvahendhoo in South Ari Atoll, Lily Beach is a 25-minute seaplane ride away from the main Velana International Airport. This five-star luxury resort, which perfected the Platinum All-Inclusive holiday experience, features 125 villas — both on land and over water — with private decks and open-air bathrooms with jacuzzis, canopy beds, glass floors and plunge pools.
In close proximity to some of the most amazing dive sites in the world, Lily Beach also offers a wide range of recreational activities and plenty of relaxation options.
