Salman Khan’s nephew Ahil Sharma turned one on Thursday, and to usher in the second year of his life, the entire Khan clan and their close friends flew down to Maldives for a private celebration.
The whole family arrived in the Maldives Wednesday and headed to Amilla Fushi resort in Baa Atoll. Salman, who is busy with the shoot of his upcoming film Tiger Zinda Hai in Austria, flew in separately and joined the family.
Salman’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma has shared some photos and videos on Instagram of the birthday celebration with a lovely message, “Here wishing my love,mylife,my world,my lil man who’s given me a reason to believe in love, life and togetherness forever. Thank you for teaching me, so many meanings of words I used and I dint understand, thank you for giving life to me , thank you for filling every void I had thank u for being u !Love u Ahil ! #ahilturns1 @amillafushi.”
Salman is not new to the Maldives. He has visited the paradise islands of the Maldives several times and has gone as far as to describe the Maldives as his favourite holiday destination.
Maldives is amongst the most sought after destinations by celebrity travellers from across the world.
The likes of English singer and television presenter Rochelle Humes and her husband Marvin, and British TV personality Billie Faiers have all declared this as their favourite part of the world for a relaxing getaway. Another British singer Perrie Edwards, English actress Millie Mackintosh and the Beckhams have also fell in love with the white sands and the blue skies of the Maldives.
Famous Bollywood stars who have visited the Maldives include Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra. Famous Bollywood couples such as Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have also spent their vacation in the Maldives. In addition to Salman, Bollywood couple Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan has declared Maldives as their favourite holiday destination.
